University of British Columbia I Digital Emergency Medicine

The University of British Columbia is a global centre for teaching, learning and research, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world.

UBC embraces innovation and transforms ideas into action. Since 1915, UBC has been opening doors of opportunity for people with the curiosity, drive and vision to shape a better world.
Digital Emergency Medicine takes pride in being a community-driven and inclusive organization. We have various student and volunteer opportunities available throughout the year. Through our research projects, and other activities such as educational events, we are able to engage several students each year.

If you are eligible and applying for a student program within UBC (such as the UBC Work Study Program, or Summer Student Research Program), if you are interested in a practicum placement, or interested in getting other practical experience related to your schooling or career we would love to hear from you.

If you are interested in getting involved as a volunteer, please fill out our application form. We have two intake periods during the year – January/February (for the summer term) and June/July (for opportunities beginning in the fall). However, during the year, there may be other opportunities outside of these intake times, so please feel free to fill out our application survey at any time, check back to our website frequently, or ask to be part of our mailing list.
