Associatcion Colombiana de Empresas de Medicina Integral

The Colombian Association of Integral Medicine Companies -ACEMI- is a legal entity, of a union nature, non-profit, whose main domicile is the city of Bogotá.  Created in 1992, to represent affiliated private companies that administer health services under the modalities of:

  • Prepaid Medicine Companies.
  • Health Promotion Entities of Contributory Regime.
  • Subsidized Health Promotion Entities.
  • Prepaid Ambulances.
The following principles inspire the Association:

  • Respect for ethical, legal and technical standards and principles that increase trust between associates and other actors in the System and promote the extension and increase of the sector's activities.
  • Collaboration and coordination among the members of the Association with the purpose of gathering efforts, resources and experiences in relation to information on services and markets and negotiations and programs with the public and private sector of the country, and allow the sector to promote sufficient and adequate scientific advances and projections for the development of the country.
  • The defense of freedom of enterprise, healthy competition and private initiative.
